The post is awesome and restores my 'faith' in our franchise! 

 

He really detaches himself and looks at his game as if he were an angry Steam player. I like it.

Would be interesting if you built a Starbase with a set range, and then used constructors or miners to construct the mining base. Would make it more interesting for some people. In exchange, all planets in range should get the benefits for each asteroid instead of assigning asteroids to every planet. That would make management easier especially for large empires and casuals.
