any ideas why terrans seem so eager to start a war with yor?

I'm playing mostly industry/diplomacy with terran/altarian team1, keynn team2, & me (yor) team3... but multiple games, terrans have declared war before even finding them and not even trying planetspread is 2, galaxy is huge common planets/stars & abundant habitable.  Does population size differences have an extreme influence on their decision to declare war?

Mostly because it's just a standardized AI and the races don't have individual personalities yet, they all share common preferences. As to why, what do the minus and plus columns tell you?

As an example, i'd like to see the iridium corporation give extra ++ relationship bonuses for trading, and a penalty for not trading with them (if you have the tech and several trade routes). I'd like to see the dregin more warlike, and have a desire to expand borders constantly.

Well for one you are the yor that apperently makes all the races more likely to declare war

other negative effects i usually encounter early game are shared borders and weaker military strength

Theres a UP Proposal that bonuses multi-trading and punishes just sticking with 1 trade partner! I know I proposed it! lol ;P

Definitely a step in the right direction for the trading races, but also some modifier to relations would help distinguish them, bonuses for trading, penalties for not trading seems a logical extension of the current system. Whereas the drengin should always be looking for their next target, the iridium should always be looking for their next trading partner.
