does anyone know how well GalCiv3 fares on GTX285 or something similar?
Its DirectX10 capable but how is performance on such an old car?

What about the rest of GC3's minimum requirements? Your display card may be a moot point if your OS is not Win7, Win8, or Win8.1, not 64 bit addressing, or you don't have at least 6GB RAM. (While the requirements specify only 4GB RAM, this is only beta and the optimization that might allow it to run on 4GB has not yet been done and it seems to need more than 4GB to run smoothly at the current level.)
They should be well above the minimum:
Found this link here that claims minimum supported is DirectX10.1 (GTX500+) and not DirectX10 while on the FAQ it only states it does not support DirectX9.
GTX285 seems to be only DirectX10 capable.
Any way we can get a more complete minimum/recommended specs from an official source, even if it does change on release?
The only thing I can find is "Galactic Civilizations III -- FAQ" via the "Game" tab above.
Other than not knowing about your display card, it looks to me like you are good to go. To get an answer about your display card you may wish to contact Stardock directly.

Aha ok thanks. ![]()
Would be nice if they put those in the FAQ as well.
