Constructor prompt

I'd like for, like in galactic civilizations 2, a prompt to come up when a constructor has made contact with a spacestation. As I am a busy emperor with things to focus on other than spacestations, I need the fact that the constructor has arrived to be delivered to me so I can decide what to build (or to withhold on construction). I often find myself forgetting that i've sent a constructor to one of my many dozens of spacestations, and I do not realise until I click on the station many turns later and find they have 3 constructors  waiting for use.

+1 for this idea...every time clicking thru my stations to find waiting constructors. btw, since last patch a waiting constructor isn't longer able to move toward any other target. is this planned?

In the same vein, I'd like to see the number of available constructors displayed as standard information, at a glance, along with modules, on mouseover.

I'd also like to build multiple construction mods on a single ship so I dont have to micro a million constructors. Then I might use starbases...

Hopefully star bases look better this time around. With more flexibility. With an economic bonus like the influence bonus.

this was available; something in the .51 update broke it  it should be coming back soon also its been mentiond that constructor ships with multiple modules will be able to use a portion of their modules and move on. So in theory you could build a 100+ module constructor and just have it visit all your bases upgrading as you go along.

It was mentioned in the dev stream a few weeks ago that SD is overhauling the station system.  Personally I would love to be able to send only a few constructors to build a station, like 1 module to build the basic station and another for each specialization and then each addition to that specialization costs money rather than another constructor.  I would especially like that if I could put 2 or more modules on each constructor ship.

 

So how this would work is build a constructor with 2 modules, send it out to build the station, that takes 1 module the second module allows the specialization to economic then each addition, the manufacturing, research, financial and approval components costs 100 BC each per level and autobuild for this would be great as well, with the option to uncheck autobuild if you are worried about your treasury.
