Hyperion Shrinker

causes confusion

I've noticed a problem with the Hyperion Shrinker planetary improvement... It seems pointless. The tool-tip says it provides: "+10% hull capacity for ships manufactured on this world". How does that benefit players? The ship designer appears to be universal, so any ship design built on that planet will have an additional +10% of wasted space. I don't know about you, but cramming another pulse cannon in all that extra space sounds like fun to me!

The tooltip is wrong. The bonus to hull capacity from the Shrinker works empire-wide, not just for ships build on the same planet.

Thanks, that had me going also.

In GC2 it was empire wide also but when I played GC3 I did get the same impression that I needed to make 1 on every planet but couldn't.

I have to laugh, playing GC3 beta is still better than playing some finished games!!!!

Still hate Steam tho
