I've seen this too. Could it be hardware or driver related? I have an i7-4770 and GeForce gt 640.
i7 3610QM running 7/64 w/16 ram.
I use a laptop but it looks like yours may be a Desk.
I have to use my integrated Intel HD 4000; you ?
I am trying to see if running a memory optimizer will help and so far the off hexes are not showing up. Just the freezes from to big of a map.
