fog of war inside ZOC

 i dont really like the idea of having FOW inside our ZOC :( if we control it we should see it ! :) maybe you guys are going to change that ??

The area inside your border is not really ZOC in this game. It is the area where your civ has the dominant influence, but you don't really have any control over it. Other civs can fly through it, settle planets in it, build starbases and starports in it. Your civ only has control over the actual planets you have settled and any structures you build.

If by ZOC you mean the area within your boundary (blue for Tarren, red for Drengin, etc.) that is the ZOI (Zone Of Influence) not the Zone Of Control. The ZOI can, and often will, extend far beyond your ZOC,

yeah sorry bad wording their! but still in galciv 2 we had no fog of war inside our ZOI ! just hoppin that comes back :)

We did have fog of war inside our ZOI in GalCiv 2. If the area isn't inside your sensor-range, you can't see it. No matter where the area is located.

I think the mechanic is outdated, let it change!
