Ship Designer crashing game

Has anyone seen crashes in the ship designer when you choose to use player ships for your starting point? It occurs every time try to use one that causes the crash. A very few of my 55 ships do not cause the crash. So far I have been unable to see what is in common. I posted a ticket with logs, I was just wondering if any of the you saw the same thing.

I figured out what causes the crash, exported parts used in the ship from the alpha need to be moved to the designs directory.
