List Colonizable Planets Missing

Where is the GalCiv 2 list of habitable, uncolonized planets?

 

Without such a list an immense game will be very painful.

 

 

Again for me basic usability missing in GalCiv 3 beta.

I don't think a list of all habitable planets would be helpful in an immense game. There could easily be 1000+ habitable planets in an immense game. Not saying that it can't be useful, but I don't think a list will help here.

On a side note if you zoom to the tactical map you can see habitable planets that are not colonized on that screen easily. Looking at circles with rings inside of rings or thick rings. This is far more helpful than a list as I can visually see the proximity of the closest habitable planets to my colony ships.

This provides all the info needed for this purpose since there is no guarantee that I can find the habitable planet that I'm looking for in a list.

I really must protest, Parrottmath. In GC2 on immense galaxies, having the ability do sort a list of all of the habitable unowned planets I had discovered by class really helped me choose which planet I wanted to send a newly created colony ship, I found it immensely helpful, and I am eagerly awaiting the optional sort options they will (I sincerely hope) they will provide when they include that feature during the beta.

 

BTW, IMO the game cannot be considered shippable without all of the sort options for the planet list that GC2 had.

I agree that a list of discovered, habitable, uncolonized planets is very useful to me, sorted by class and maybe other factors.
