Glad to finally have a chance to explore

any chance of tutorial?

Thanks to all the Stardock team for making the beta keys available and I've gotten my feet a little bit wet in the game and love it so far.

I do wonder, though, is there going to be a tutorial added? Maybe that is shameful of me to ask for, but I feel it would make it easier for newbies such as I (yes, a newbie bought the game months ago just outta excitement).

I think they are changing things so much that time on a tutorial would be wasted as they features would change within weeks of release. It wouldn't hurt to have a basic principles guide though.

I thoght i heard something about a tutorial and usually the first couple of levels of most games consist of a tutorial in the guise of "training" or "showing off" or some such

There will be a tutorial, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't make it in the beta.

Hope so. Then again, having experienced players become confused is valuable insight on what they are building. They want to see how we react to new things. Or so I believe.

Paul Boyer mentioned in this podcast that there will be a tutorial campaign in addition to the main campaign (it's about 23:40 min. in). So, I guess we'll see the tutorial once they add the campaign, which, according to the last dev streams, is after beta 3.
