Ship Battles Buggy

Is anyone else having an issue where when you move into a space to battle an opponent, it comes up with the window to do "combat" and you click the only button available, and then seems to do nothing? The ship does not even mark it made a move? Is acting very strange. Makes dominating your opponent difficult. :)

if I reload the game, it works for a while. Then stops. Sometimes it CTDs. Not sure what info I can grab for the developers.

I just had a blue screen of death. I had a battle pop-up message like you and clicked yes to confirm it and nothing happened, no battle. Clicked to attack again and same thing. Saw I still had 3 moves left, moved the ship and tried again. No go. I then tried another ship and tried to attack. Same thing, nothing happened. Then I got the BSOD.

You can send in the debug file located under: your user name/my documents/my games/GalCiv3/.  The file is called "debug.err".

I get to battle and it repeats the battle about 5 times and crashes. This build is less stable then alpha 2.

I am glad it is not just me then and something strange with my PC. I looked at the debug log, it appears they automatically send it. So thats good. I can't really play any further, which is a bummer since I like helping to test, but if I CTD every other round during age of war, it kind of makes it hard to play test at all. Still, looking good so far!  |-)

I've also had it where nothing happens when you attack one ship, but if you attack another, the first ship you attacked is destroyed, but not the current ship. This seems to "unlock" the first stack of ships and allow you to attack them freely. I haven't had it crash as a result of this, though.
