Some feedback

I'll keep this short.

Shipyard: So hard to get everything to line up. I can't wait for symmetry.  Also, parts like the hyperdrive... this doesn't really work out well for me. I have the hardest time lining it up so it doesn't look bad. Also in some positions the hyper drive doubles. 

Also, some modules end up at a slight slant, which looks odd.

I think that there needs to be a "simple" and a "complex" mode for ship attachment points, especially for the larger pieces.

 

Also there's a few aspects of the game I am failing to grasp, like how to invade a planet. I click my ships on it and nothing happens. 


For the little planet building thing.... can there be an auto builder at some point? I am kind of finding it annoying to always have to select stuff to build

You should watch the third devstream for some basic pointers on the ship designer as it currently is, but note that this thing will be completely overhauled in the next build we get, presumably in the next 2-4 weeks.

 

The hyperdrive doubling would be symmetry in action. Attachment points are being re-done.

You need to research planetary invasion or w/e its called atm and then build transports or design a ship with a troop transport module on it. These transports can then invade a unguarded planet, normal combat ships do not carry invasion troops. 

Having planetary governors to manage planets for you is very common in these games, so you can expect those to be in but probably not for a nother 4-8 months at least.
