Please put in more autosaves.

I am currently having difficulty with the report of a bug for lack of sufficient autosaves. The recreation of an issue that is tightly dependent on probability can be rather daunting when there are only two autosaves, particularly if the effect of a bug is not noticed for several turns (during Alphas and Betas I always set the autosave interval to one turn). Other games permit the player to set the number of autosaves to be saved. Please do this for GC3. I would like to set it to somewhere between 5 and 10,

Thanks.

Support. This comes in handy.

I would add that it would be neat if you could save in a subfolder of 'saves' - so that your autosaves, quicksaves and named saves for a game are by default stored in the folder you loaded from.

Strongly agree! Arbitrarily setting the minimum to two turns is one turn too high. Please make it like GalCiv II and let us plug in the number we want!

For me, having an autosave minimum that is too high (cough Sins cough) takes the fun out of the game because I have to obsessively save manually every minute for fear of losing progress.

Seems like a good idea gets my vote. :digichet:

+1.  The game is buggy right now (two fold -- one it seems to love to try to overheat my GPU and two I think that there is a memory leak) and more saves and having a dedicated subdirectory for them would be useful.

I thought we could already adjust it?

End of DARCA1213's quote

We can adjust how frequently it is saved but not how many saves will be made. That's what Lucky Jack is asking for.Right now it's only the "auto save" and the "previous auto save" unless you manually save them yourself.

Oky doky then.

Gets my vote. Then I could up my AS frequency from every turn if I had 10+ (preferably user adjustable) available auto-saves.
