Ship Icons facing wrong way

Hello all,


Not a serious issue, but might just be a graphical design glitch.


When I scroll out off the map and watch my ships auto-moving, their icons always show one direction - North west position, though they are heading for various map locations.


Anyone else notice this ?

I always assumed that was for simplicity

I believe this in intentional, so you know exactly what type of ship it is from the icon without having to rotate it in your head.

As stated above, this is intentional. When you zoom out to a certain point, you aren't seeing your ship, you are seeing an icon representing the kind of ship. When you zoom in enough to see your ship, it will be facing the correct way.
