First I want to say I am really looking forward to seeing this finished.  It is already showing a lot of potential.  I realise that some of these are possibly already known and some are possibly the way they are because this is just the Alpha.  Anyway my thoughts so far.

1.  While my ship was moving I saw an anomaly and clicked on it but the ship completed the original planned move first and then doubled back to the anomaly.

2.  Addition of a text history log of events in known space.

3.  Addition of total cash and cash flow to the planet screen so that I know how close I am to going bankrupt:)  Can I really afford to buy that Research Centre?

4.  Colour code the cash total on the Galaxy screen to reflect + or - cash flow.

5.  Option to auto upgrade facilities.

6.  The Research Co-Ordination Centre is available as soon as co-ordinated research is started and not on completion.

7.  The Lost Defender has a greater movement allowance than a scout.  Possibly because it is from a lost civilisation.

8.  When plotting long distance travel the AI plotted a course that had my ship outside its permitted range for several turns to avoid a dust cloud.

9.  Option to quicksave but then with the adjustable auto save maybe that is not really necessary.

I had noticed that too. Funny way to set waypoints uh?

The thing is that it does not seem to always do that. Sometimes It will simply not register the change, or register it but usually after a lag. I had myself some fun torturing the game by constantly changing my ships destination while they moved.

#1 is annoying.

#4 The money display on the galaxy goes to a yellow colour when losing money already, with the default being white.
