Radeon still no good

When I use the Intel I get a warning about drivers have to be 10.1

I click OK and all runs fine.

When I use Catalyst and switch the graphics to my Radeon I get the  into screen fine but the menu words are gone. I am able to get out by clicking in the appropriate box.

I also get the 10.1 warning with my Radeon. I have 11.

I wonder if there's something unique that needs to be done to get laptop GPUs working. I've found that AMD laptops GPUs are a tad' fussy' in terms of how they work sometimes.

Can you try the following and see if this helps? Its a copy/paste from Payday2 but might be something that helps for GalCiv3. If not its something much lower level.

DO NOT SET PAYDAY 2 TO HIGH PERFORMANCE!

Follow the instructions below to set the CCC properly.

Thanks to Carmie for this valuable tip concerning AMD mobile cards

1. Open up CCC (Mobility)
2. Go to "Power > Switchable Graphics Method"
3. Tick "Select the graphics processor manually or based on power source." and click "Apply"
4. A new option would (and should) appear under Power. This is "Power > Switchable Graphics" which was previously unavailable.
5. In here, there should be a two buttons under "Choose a Graphics Processing Unit:". Click on "High-performance GPU".
6. A confirmation should pop up asking if you want to confirm the change. Click on "Change". You may experience your screen flickering a bit. This is normal. Your computer is switching to the AMD GPU.
7. After it finishes, CCC should start saying that the "Current active Graphics Processing Unit" is the High-performance GPU. You may also run "dxdiag" and look in the "Display" tab and check what the device name is. If it says anything with "AMD" in it and not "Intel" then...
8. Congratulations! You're done.

Nothing added but changed the global power from Optimal to Maximum Performance.

All I got was a black screen and locking up so had to force a shutdown.

installed the latest dx11 and restarted.

I still need to use my intel to play.

In looking at dxdiag I do not see the Radeon listed anywhere but it is in my device manager and CCC says it is there. It is like the R is a helper hardware.

Dunno you'll have to wait to see if Stardock can figure out why laptop GPUs seem to have issues with the game.

Same Problems here, Need to play on the built in Intel Chip. In Case of my Raden Mobility 7980 the Text in the Buttons of the Main Menu don't readable.
