Didn't see a dedicated topic yet so figured i started one
A: Instead of numbering the bloks make it catchy names please. Like trust 1 = trust and Faith for the 2nd
The above should be/ can be expanded on every blok that is numbered
B1: I do not like the only fixed rewards. Every item should have a fixed and a flexibal reward.
The flexible reward should match "approval" (or however you going to call it)
Bonuses should have a min and max. Min wil be given on approval 0-20% and max wil be given on approval 90-100%. Between 20 and 90% the reward should be in ratio with the approval %.
B2: Here comes the circle aspect. Approval should be influenced. Look at the world today. Those countries where the people do not like what their leaders are doing are going to riot. This is based on what the people like vs the players choices.
The challenge wil be to determine what the people like. Possible aspects are:

Race starting point of view

Chosen bloks (each picked item should influence this by xx %)

Cultural influence (based on how culture works now, foreign cultures can affect)

Relational influence:

Alliance: their choices inflaunces our people to be the same as them

Neutral/ peace – no effect

War: their choices influence our people to think different then them

Intrigue - propaganda … part of spying? (like civ4 influence ppl has)

Science (own and enemy) that influence each type of acceptance of own and other population
Then if the populace like B 60% while the player has B the approval wil be 60%.
The flexible bonus here then wil be (minimum +40% of the ratio).
C: I expect it is possible to pick items from all 3 trees at the same time?
D: more is better I would like to see more options.
E: replace the pyramid for a more research type of set. Your lvl 4 requires 3 of level3. Additionally It should also require a fixed one before (now its possible to select Trust 2 without trust 1)
I would love to see something like:
1A 1B 1C 1D (pick any)
2A 2B 2D 2E 2F 2G (needs 2 x 1 and same letter if needed)
3B 3E 3G 3H 3I 3J 3K 3L (needs 3x 2 and same letters)
4A 4B 4H 4J 4M 4N (needs al but 1 3 and same letters)
F: Penalty: I actually think some (higher lvl) bloks should have a penalty related with the bonuses of the other branches
Example:
Mercy: has 5%- morale and no surrender to your for 40 turns
Sabotage: no surrender to your for 20 turns and no peace for active wars for 40 turns
Infamy: has 5%- morale and no peace for active wars for 40 turns
