Problem with Total Manufacturing value?

I start the game as a Terran (+15% Manufacturing as racial bonus). I have only one colony, Earth. I don't build any improvements, there are the Starport and the Colony Capital (+25% Manufacturing) only. Population of Earth is 10bn. I adjust the allocation wheel on Earth to 100% Manufacturing. Total Manufacturing shows 18,9. Shouldn't it be 14? Population is 10, 100% manufacturing, this means 10 base manufacturing, modifiers 15+25=40, 10*1,4=14, Total Manufacturing should be 14, not 18,9.

Or am I missing something? Is this an error, or I forgot something?

There is an additional +50% modifier to manufacturing. You can only see it when you select the planet on the main map and look at the tooltip for manufacturing. I have no idea what the source of this modifier is, however, because it only says "Missing Info".

Thank you for your reply. I haven't noticed this mysterious +50% bonus. If I remember correctly, in GalCiv 2 there was some sort of (manufacturing?) bonus when a planet had a moon. I wonder if this is the case here, albeit the 50% bonus would be a bit much, I think.

The magic 50% was coming as a bug in the ideology tree, this has been fixed in the next build. This is however a good bug report, because it shows that the planet production was not accounting for the ideology bonus, which will still exist, just not be give out for free.

Thanks, mormegil. Good to hear that this is going to be fixed. And good to hear that my contribution was useful.:)

It seems the 50% bug has been fixed in the patch. However, the Total Manufacturing value on the Govern Planet screen (13) still doesn't exatcly match the same value on the Planetary Statistics screen (14.0). See screenshot attached.
