Screen scrolling not working

The scrolling triggered by mousing to the edge of the screen does not appear to be working, even with the delay set to '0' in options.  Scrolling via arrow keys appears to be working fine.

Also, 'idle ship' button prior to turn end appears to be triggering only once.  If I hit it and center on an idle ship, once that ship has exhausted it's actions, I get the 'turn' button rather than any other idle warnings....

I just checked and mouse scrolling does not work for me either, and that is for both windowed mode and full screen mode. I am not sure it should work in windowed mode. I have seen many games and other applications have too much difficulty mouse scrolling in windowed mode.

There is No edge scrolling, which I miss.  Manouevreing about is by left-clicking and Holding down on an "empty" space hex and then dragging away from where you want to go.  This current mechanic is too much of an RSI risk to me.

That's not the only way.  There's also a "Zoom to cursor" option.  With that turned on, you can zoom out with your mouse wheel, place your cursor where you want to be, and then zoom back in.

I agree that the edge scrolling should be brought back.

Or you could use the cursor-keys to scroll the map.

Cursor Keys option sounds best at the moment, I'm sure I'm not the only one appreciates the advice/feedback.

Edge scrolling in windowed mode is very difficult support in a reasonable manner. I have yet to see anything support scrolling in windowed mode reasonably well without using scroll bars.

I would really appreciate seeing edge scrolling in the game too!

First beta out and still no edge scrolling.

If not even the basic usability is yet available I am very reluctant to invest time in this game.

Yes, this needs to happen.

It's the only disappointment so far.
