Range glitch

As You can see, I told my ship to go to the edge of the range, in order to explore. The AI in charge of determining the movement decided to move it out of the way of the dust cloud, and outside of the indicated range. This was done correctly, however, since the turn before my survey ship found an anomaly to increase the range of all ships ('Breath of Fresh Air'), and the range of the ship should go to the edge of the system, as opposed to what it is now. So from this, I can assume either the range bonus is glitched, or the Range indicator is glitched. If I  missed something, please let me know.

IN order to post screenshots you need to host the picture from another place... like dropbox, then use that link in this forum.

Ranges were quirky in GalCiv 2.  When you got the hang of them, you could set certain destinations when your ship/fleet started at the edge of your allowable range, and in certain situations your ship/fleet would fly many turns outside the range of your fleet before turning toward its destination; GC3 seems to be similar in this regard.

Also, and perhaps more relevant, I also got "breath of fresh air" and I'm 99 % sure it only works for any ships in the fleet that got it.  In other words, it's not a global boost for all your ships, but only for the survey "fleet" (which is almost always only one ship).

I did this a lot; send a really long range colony ship to an unoccupied cluster of stars, colonize one planet then build the following colony ships without life support at all and just have them "coast" from one "bubble" of in-range territory to the next. I haven't tried it so far in 3 yet.
