Played Half Hour, couple of initial suggestions-UI related

1) On the minimap, make it where clicking on the minimap zooms you into where you click

 

2) On planetary construction, allow picking a spot for an improvement by dragging the improvement from the selections from the right-hand side of things to the tile you wish to improve.

A quick thing I noticed aslo was that 'auto turn' doesn't seem to have the 'auto' part working :P

Realy nice alpha build! |-) Playing 4 players on small map runs smooth as silk already. Great high res textures, nice looking space, models and reflections!

I noticed that large UI is choosable but I think not implemented yet. Besides some clippings with asteroids (wich is cosmetic not subject of an alpha version) I didn't hit any bugs till now.

Nice start for GalCiv3 so far :thumbsup:

Found a "lost gunboat" and had problems ordering it to move around. Had it on auto explore first, then started to manually move it, after which the path placing became more and more difficult. Especially at greater range. Repeated attempts could get it to move a little, but mostly in short straight lines. Long distance pathing failed to register.

 

DISREGARD. THAT WAS THE RANGE LIMIT. :-)
