PLSS HELP doesn't change the live folders

Hi to all, i read that for a long time and a lot of people had(have) the problem with ICON PACKAGER, IT doesn't change the LIVE FOLDERS.

I read out a lot of forums and no one sayed how to fix the problem. 
PLSS Help the program is really nice, i used it for a long time, for the first time a had this problem at win 7 x64 a long time ago, and solved this issue but i don't remember how.
Now a i have windows 8.1 x64. Pls help.

im having the same problem too it works sometimes and then it goes back to windows live folders

Here's a fix that worked for me. Open your start menu and in the search field type in regedit. This will open the registry. Open HKEY_CLASSES ROOT. Scroll down until you see the exefile. Open that then open shellex. In there rename the folder Icon Handler to something else, like Icon HandlerX. Close out of the registry then reboot your machine. Hope this helps.

That didnt help all my Live folders are normal. No matter which icon pack I select, it wont change. Windows 7. IP 5.10.032

 

So frustrating.
