Price is 39.99 PLUS 39.99?

When purchasing the Founders Edition for 39.99, below it states:

"Get the full game for $39.99 instead of the regular $49.99 price"

Does that mean BOTH are 39.99 total 79.98 OR you GET BOTh for the 39.99?

TIA for any responses.

You pay 39.99 once. The beta is a free perk for buying the game early, and it's $10 cheaper now to boot.

The price will instead be 49.99 for anyone who does not purchase before next week. I don't believe we've announced whether pre-release version access will still be available short of the Elite preorder after that point either.

Of course, if you wait five years you'll be able to get it on the winter Steam sale for five dollars plus all DLC :3

Come on, games lose their price pretty swift these days - 2-4 months of grace period to please pre-order public, and those who paid full price, then first discount go, from 10 to 33% (or more, if game has only 74 perfect scores :P ). Add couple more months - here comes 50% off. 9 months passed - welcome 75% off or more. Could be 66%, if publisher is greedy. Within year game lose basic price.

Fairly normal practice - you want sales, then make it cheaper, to be more attractive for less dedicated people and/or those in doubt.
