After Victory?

will playing be possible?

For obvious security reasons stardock employees aren't allowed to comment about features being developed or answer any question without authorization. As I found out today.

with that said CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WE CAN PLAY AFTER VICTORY! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!

After that great game you just won, still wanting to play it and do stuff is natural for me. But I couldn't in galciv2 hopefully we can this time.

And the AI shouldn't try winning anymore (as it's lost) but still be playing and causing trouble.

thanks, and breakfast is essential to a great day.

What about "wipe them out" sort of "after victory", with no one else alive, simply to see how real end of tech tree looks like. Similar to one older SoaSE allowed, including picking just one player, win instantly, and keep playing after that? It was basically Xen-most thing I ever seen in strategy genre.

Hey Darca are you new to this game I forgot.

Not really.

DARCA is all caps because it is a acronym, for what, it's a secret.

only reason I ask is because I haven't it seen mentioned anywhere.

and Rudy_102 I read Russian internet is super fast like like all of Europe 100MBps, so quit playing games...wait we are playing games, there's a joke for you. Lol.

And you haven't accepted my friend request Admiral. (feeling sad emotion where heart is) half lol.

With a capital "B" as in Bytes, not bits?

Yea bytes. What is a bit?

The following links are to WikiPedia. A Byte contains several bits. The designation of speed across any expanse in bits per second has its roots in the development of electrical telegraphy in the 1830s, the creation of the Baudot code in the 1870s, and the eventual adoption of Baud as a measure of transmission speed, which I remember being used in the 1950s.

Eventually they settled on bits per second (bps) as the common designation of data transmission speed.

Okay. How much of a difference is there between 1giga byte and 1giga bit thingy?

8 bits equal 1 byte. So having 1 gigabit internet would allow 125 MegaBytes of date throughput.

Minus some overhead. I have seen as much as 10% overhead during transmissions. This overhead is what allows the net to know where a transmission is going, how much data is in it, and anything else the net needs to know about the transmission.

This shit is evil.

Don't worry about it. As long as your download rate is close (within 10%), you should be ok.

Just to add on bits, basically transistors come in two types some with less power and some with more power. The less power are 0's, and the more power are 1's. All computers use this designation to do anything. There are 8 of these in a sequince  this is called a byte.Anything that is done on a computer has to boil down to this somehow. A byte is also transferred as a character.

Hey Darca we are friends now right.

Of course. And with people of talent like the community here making the Utopian society I have dreamed of can be possible with help.

I don't support the idea to take drugs to be happy like the book talks about. Though that is the pharmisitical company dream, and that is what they are trying to do by prescribing drugs that were only for the severely dangerously insane people to everyone who wants it.

What I would love is some sort of game recording.  Rewatching a match and deeply analyzing the action is almost more fun than playing the match to begin with.   I love reviewing the charts and graphs, seeing how my actions affected the opponent.  Thinking of new strategies to dismember my enemy's empire after absorbing copious amounts of data.  But alas, such a luxury in a TBS has yet to be seen (in any kind of useful detail).

Actually yes. Not that I like to drown in statistic in game (have enough on job:)), but Cossacks (currently on sale on GoG), offer graphs with specific techs researched. Quite useful addition, to analyze your curves and compare them with your opponents'.
