GalCiv3 in virtualization

Over the past few years I've migrated my primary development environment to a MacBook Pro. It has a desecrate video card (AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB) and I have been able to play most modern PC games under windows virtualization (DX9/DX10) through Parallels Desktop. Understanding that the new 64-bit game is going to be upward scalable for future hardware standards, I wonder to what point that it will scale down?

I'll be interested to see how the Alpha performs in my environment once it is released.

We'll be grateful if you could keep us up to date, as I'm sure some people here would have a similar set-up. For the rest of us, it would be interesting academically :)
