Star Lords is coming to early access next month. To seemingly offer an option to GalCivIII.
Who knows how good it will be but the two games have a similar feature list.
I've been following this one for a while (in addition to M.O.R.E. and Predestination). I'm not in a hurry to get it, and will cheerfully skip the alpha, but it does look pretty good so far.
