I agree. Every April first the Yor need something like that. Or better yet, a floppy version of GalCiv's main theme.

Well, to me it would be plain epic to have a special calender programmed into the game so it can recognize the date and unlock special in game content on specific days of the year, however I want the game released before this idea can be harnessed to its full potential. Perhaps we should be focusing on key aspects of the game first before we move on to super elaborate suggestion candy such as this one. Then again the alpha access might be the choice to make if you really want to see what the fudge is going on right now in terms of game development.

If that is what is being asked for, I have great faith that the SD people would reject the idea without comment instantly. But if some of the sound tracks they create were made using (or simulating) the step drive of many floppy drives, that would be fantastic. And why limit themselves to floppy drives, why not include in their "orchestra" many other devices that make mechanically musical sounds.
