Support 4K video resolution

I would like to see support for 4K video resolution in Galactic Civilization 3

Resolution will not be limited on the the game side, if your video card can push 4k you will be good to go. The UI will have several scale modes to make sure it stays crisp and clean even on crazy Retina like displays, we want to make sure the game is as future proof as possible.

Have you guys considered any BPM or touch friendly UIs like in Civ5?

 

Also what about ultra-widescreen configs? 2 -3 monitors setups

I'm getting my 2nd monitor this week. First time I will be using 2 monitors. I'm gonna be a happy camper.

I may be wrong in this but I think (THINK) that GalCiv II was the first PC strategy game to support dynamic user interface capabilities. That is, when 2560x1440 monitors first showed up, GalCiv II looked amazing on it even though they didn't exist at the time it was developed.
