It's been a long time coming

Over the next few months we'll be giving a lot more details on what's happening to the Founders group. We've been working on Galactic Civilizations III for quite awhile now.  It is using a brand-new, 64-bit, DirectX 10/11 3D engine that is just amazing.

The team itself is much the same team that was with us for Galactic Civilizations I and II with some notable additions that have allowed us to do some really cool new stuff both visually and technically.

If you want to get inside info on what we're doing, make sure you get the Founder's Edition.

Can't wait for Alpha!! I want to go bug hunting!

By far my easiest game purchasing decision in months. Saw the e-mail and bought it two minutes thereafter.

Take my money... soon. I have to get out to about January until I have $100 to spend, the next two months are going to be murder on by finances with the PS4 coming out.

Please, please consider releasing a Mac/Linux version of this.  Or at least try and make it more Wine-friendly than GalCiv 2 was.

Yes to Linux. I'd also accept a PS4 version of this. :)

If I wake up tomorrow and find out this was all a dream I will cry.

I admit, when I got the e-mail saying that Gal Civs III was announced I almost yelled for joy! It's been a long-time coming; but dang it, I'm so happy!

Now... I just need more money, lol.

It took me 12 hours because I have a rule about making spontaneous purchases.

Oh my God, Frogboy! These news are so splendid, and finally with Multiplayer. This is going to be so grand. I look forward to the thousands after thousands of hours I will play this game for the years ahead of us.

Thanks for prioritizing making GalCivIII now, good choice lads and ladettes at Stardock. Suddenly my interest of other upcoming Space Strategy games fell under the basement.

NB! Need to buy Alpha access today when back from work. Yummy!
