Unable to submit

Can hit submit button but screen never leaves submission page.

Unable to submit a new skin this morning, when you hit SUBMIT button it tells you they have submitted but stays on the same screen.  Checking my profile confirms it has not uploaded, presume there is some site maintenance going on today?

I've tested uploads and don't see an issue.  What browser are you using?  Tried a different one? Using adblockers?

The previous 3 skins posted using the same pc/browser combo.  I don't use adblocker and my Firefox is the current version.  I have installed Win 7 and Firefox today (unrelated computer drama) neither FF  or IE gets past the submit button.  Is there some kind of account limit for posting? cap on size applied to accounts?

What Gallery section are you attempting to upload to?

Rainmeter as usual, I have posted many skins and currently am the Top Skinner.  I am certain the issue is with the WC site; I am trying to upload Dashboard 1.5 which is about 370kb and a 400kb screenshot which should be a none-issue.  The same files are uploaded at DA and Customize.org and download and install correctly.

Would you mind sending me the files so I can test?  islanddog at stardock.com

So I update my HAL skin and it submitted just fine.  If I try to submit Dashboard 1.5 I get stuck on the submit page.  Here are a couple of screenies to better illustrate the problem.  The second one is how the page refreshes AFTER you hit submit.  Hitting submit again leave you with the same page.

both files being added.

I never got the skin file.

I would suggest putting that file in a .zip and try submitting.

I sent the email as soon as I spotted your reply, let me re-send to both of you accounts..  rmskin is a zip file btw.

Oh, you could also grab it from DA...http://fav.me/d67rg4h

I'm not really sure what's going on.  I've done test uploads with the files and it works just fine.

I assume you will have posted without all the text, so I just posted it with a paragraph and it submits correctly.

I then edited the skin and put everything down to the Version history in and hit submit and it still worked.

If I then try and paste the version history it get stuck in the submit loop.

Version 1.4:

* Added rectangular Volume skin - toggle playback device, mouse wheel scroll or click on bar to change volume.
* Added playback device toggling to Round Volume control.
* Added Round GPU Load Meters.
* Added GPU VRM Summary skin showing voltage and temperature skin for over-clockers.
* Added Round Swap Memory (Virtual Memory) meters.
* Added Hard Drive Read/Write Summary skin showing current & Max values and disk activity.
* Minor tweaks and fixes.

Version 1.3:

* Altered the widths of all rectangular skins to be identical, the 3 that were smaller made no sense to my eye!  Essentially LuaCalendar, Media Player and Slideshow get bigger.
* Added drive usage bars to Hard Drive summary to better utilise the space.
* The usual fixes & tweaks I forget!
Version 1.2:

* Motherboard
* Dual GPUs
* Hard Drives
* Analogue clock
* Launcher
* Slide show
* Round Wifi & Battery meters (tested on a laptop - screen shot is from my main PC hence no Wifi signal)
* Skinned LuaCaledar
* Quote of the Day

Version 1.1:

* Replaced Speedfan plugin with HWInfo.
* Added a GPU skin.
* Fixed some minor display issues with a few meters (showed % where not required).
* Changed the Players method of jumping around tracks from invisible boxes to a mouse variable.

From this it would seem there is a limit on the number of character in a description which is causing the failure but without providing any kind of feedback.

Pumping the whole text into Word gives 768 words, 4,360 char with spaces and 3,638 without.  So, what is the char limit for the main text box? this might confirm the source of the problem.
