[Bug] Dazed combatants still swarm?

Just had a small battle where my Sand Golem used his bash ability and became dazed. He then participated (at least visually) in swarm attack on another opponent.

I, too, have seen 'dazed' melee units visually participate in swarm attacks initiated by adjacent units. How can we determine if the dazed units are actually causing damage to the defending unit?
