So my latest Xion-player has been released !!!

I have made it like a "Mothership" with the overall design for Optimal use with Vampothikas awesome cursor Oberon 7: LINK

Completely new thinking in making the skins for the suit actually match the other stuff both in colorchoice as shape & design.

yes like Uvah said winamp is the name of the player but i dont have a clue how skins are made for it but i do know some folks that do them. If i find the time ill ask tomorrow would be cool to get that skin since i realy like it ^^ it looks mechy i love mechs (literally not physically)  XD  
winamp is sponsored or even made by Frauenhofer the guys that developed the mp3 compression.

Duh!!! I know that. You'll need the player if you want to skin it just like Xion. As for the software to skin it with.....................click start\all programs. You should find it in there. It could be Photoshop or Cinema 4D or 3DS Max or a coloring book or crayons. Whatever floats your boat. Either way you'll do a bang up job!

Winamp used to be very popular at one time and there is a gallery for them, I think its still there. Also, Winamp is the default media player for Sysmetrix but because it butts heads with Windows media player I don't use it. When I build smx's I include a link to Xion because most use Xion rather than Winamp and truth to tell I haven't seen a new skin for Winamp in several years. At least not here. Check out the gallery at Winamp.com. Some of them are pretty amazing.

I stuck with 2.9x because anything after that was basically crap....and then TSF did far better work with WMP anyway.

There is a 'skin maker' for the 2x series...but it's absolute rubbish...and we don't accept skins made by it....because they are absolute rubbish.

The 2x series is 'simple'...but it requires you to understand what goes where....how...and why...and then to know your way around [any] graphic proggy that can do a bitmap...;)
