Because the main page is designed to find skins and that part is working.  :)

We wonder what they´re trying to fix......

It´s been going on for quite some time now on and off. :\

To hazard a guess, databases and all sorts of webdev/code monkey goodies to make members' (and others') experience here better, faster and maybe even more profitable... maybe fixing the ads thing... dunno.

I figure that if it were easy, it'd be done quickly. Since it wasn't, it probably was involved, and not very easy.

Anyway, webdevs and others... thanks for doing all you do to keep this old bag of bones (I'm not including myself in that description) up and going. Keeping T. Rex in fighting trim and out of the museum ain't easy.

This site has been slow, broken and decrepit for the last ten years, so don't build up your hopes ;)

Yes, but you still love coming here... as do I and the multitude of other members who frequent the place daily/weekly, etc.

Actually, the site has been running quite well for me in recent times, with only one or two glitches that didn't last too long.

Thanks to all the maintenance staff who made this possible.

That may be true but hats off to him. He has been around a lot for the last few months helping with situations and problems. He is still an antique however but said with love.

Hmmm, it has just occurred to me that the title should read "What's down [up] at WC?"... being I'm in the antipodes.
