game crashes when disabling mod

hi,

i am having some trouble with the maelstrom mod. i cant disable it. when i try, the game crashes and i get an error report about a saved minidump. can anyone help me?

don't know why but lowering video settings helps. when the settings are changed i can disable the mod.

I've noticed this in some mods that have unique ships for the militia (I.e. the asteroids in maelstrom). If you want to avoid that deleting the EnabledMods.txt file in the mod folder before you start the game will always work to disable your mods.
