Windows 7 Original Icons?

Hi all....

Is there a package with original Windows 7 icons or as close to it as possible? Friend put a netbook version of Win 7 on his netbook, and it looks like they have somehow removed the original 7 iconset and the only option is some horrible black icons!

I've had a quick look through but can't see anything suitable - any help would be appreciated.

What OS was on the netbook to begin with?  He installed Win 7 and it removed the original Win 7 icons?

Hi - it was Windows XP on it originally. He installed what is no doubt a downloaded copy of Windows 7 called something like Windows 7 netbook dark edition, or something similar - it seems to be a stripped down version of Win 7, but no original icons in it...... the XP looked fine to me, but you know people with their computers!!

I don't think there is a version of Win7 like that. Are you sure he didn't get a hacked version?

Sounds like 'Darklite OS'  a "hack" of XP... but there's likely a ver for 7 by now.

Better to buy a LEGITIMATE OS.  I believe Microsoft makes them....;)
