can i make the start button bigger than the taskbar in windowblinds or do i need to do an objectbar skin?

WindowBlinds cannot make a start button that is taller than the taskbar.

There is a way you could fake it.Make the taskbar resizer(that little strip above the taskbar) a little larger and use part of that as your start button.
