Found out why my Dreams were not moving!

Okay, I feel so stupid about this, but I just downloaded DeskScapes and then spent a whole morning trying to determine why my Dream wallpapers weren't moving on my desktop. (This included looking into codecs and other techie things that I really don't understand.)

Then I realized something: I was running DesktopX! Surely it doesn't support animated wallpaper. Yep, I exited out of DesktopX and my wallpaper was immediately animated.

I hope I'm not the only one silly enough not to think about this. I just wanted to put it out there in case anyone else ever had the same issue.

DX and DeskScapes work fine together. Just make sure that DX isn't set to apply a wall or hide your icons.  Performing those functions with DX can cause problems with DS.

He is correct. I even have a DesktopX theme in my gallery that is especially made to run with dreams. I am about to upload another.

As Wiz said, just be certain that the DX theme is set to no wallpaper. If you want icons hidden, do it through windows or fences.

Thanks guys! I really don't know much about any of this stuff, so these are the kinds of details I need to know.

RedneckDude, I'll be sure to check that theme out in your gallery.
