Custom Game Win exploit

So I was in this game where before it started the host was talking about some hacks. I didn't believe him until early in the match I got the msg "A player has left the game." spammed across my screen. I was left with just me and the AI.

So I win the match and I go check my statistics and I see that it counted it as a loss!! After some digging I noticed that the person bragging about hacking has a huge win history in the same custom game he hosts. (US) USA East 3v3 GOOD TIMES!!!.

If you look at his games list you can see the pattern. http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/games/player/33234/

So how do they do it and is it against the rules?

Well I'm pretty sure the huge win streak is from him hosting, and if he's losing ragequits before it ends so it doesn't count the match because he is the host. (Most of the top 100 in custom games do this :S ).

I don't think he's hacking though, considering I've played against him a few times. It sounds like you experienced a split from all the other players, which seems to be something pretty random, it happens to me occasionally even when I'm host.

a split? interesting.

I wasn't aware that rage quitting when your the host counts as a win for the host.

It usually doesn't count it at all in the hosts game list if they quit before it ends, but if you did split from the game the other people were probably all in the other one, and played it through and won.

Yes, this is quite a problem for custom games. I hope they will fix that soon.

I was in one of the games with you Demi and you guys split. I was left with the AI. The opposing team left a few min after you guys. I thought it was weird because they all left at exactly the same time no gaps between disconnects. I don't know why it counted as a win for them.

If you look at the details of the game list of that guy...almost all the opposing team in his games have 5 favor. That's usually the amount you get for a disconnect. I mean I looked at like the first 20 games on that list and not one person on the opposing team has more than 10 favor gained...LOL!

That means that not one person did jack shit in all those games. That is not even possible. He probably figured out some way to disconnect certain players and get auto wins..the shit some people will do just amazes me. Like that actually makes someone a good player?

I don't get it either Bill; I mean, if they DO get high in ranking, don't they sooner or later have to actually "play" another well ranked player.  Seems replays would have really helped this too; I mean, how many replays could this guy have of him having games end this way before something was done.  As it is now, you just have to take someones word for it that this kind of thing happened.

I never looked at that ranking section before; how embarassing, I've only got a 28% win rate.  I saw one guy with 100+ wins, no losses, is that possible???
