Pantheon...what??

So my buddies didn't log on last night so I went to roll some Pantheon battles...

1st Game: I sit at the loading screen for over 5 minutes before deciding to atl tab and close it down. I checked later and received a loss for this. LoL?

2nd Game: Game loads in 2v3 (I'm on 2 side) on a dominate game type. My teammate immediately leaves. I decide oh well I'll play it out. I go 16-1 and end up gaining 110 Favor in the LOSS. 1v3 vs players...GG

3rd Game: Game takes forever to load again. When I load in it's 2v3 yet again (I'm on the 2 side of course!) and my teammate immediately leaves again. I decide screw it, I'm not sitting through this again and leave as well.

4th Game: Game takes forever to load. When I finally get in everyone has disconnected except one guy on the other team. He disconnects seconds later and I just play it out. I end up winning against the computer pretty quickly, but when I check the stats I received a loss. I guess some other idiot beat the computer a little faster than me. LoL. Another Loss.

5th Game: 2v2 actually loads. We destroy the other team and get the win.

I'm not usually one to complain but this is obviously seriously broken. I went '1-4' and not ONE game was even close to an actual loss. I know the big update is hitting soon, and I'm hoping these issues are really looked into.

Here's the official line.

Demigod Pantheon connecitivity is smooth and as good as it's ever going to get.

Your problems were either:

1) People left cos they wanted to be on a premade team.

2) The 3v2 was intentional since your rank suggests that you can handle non-equal teams.

If you don't like it, you are suggested that you don't play Pantheon.

Sadly what MrBoingy said is true. Frogboy has said if you don't like it don't play it.

Pantheon should just be removed. Once people realize uneven teams is intentional not many are going to play.

Ok...so intentional is an uneven DOMINATE game?? Hell on conquest I might even have a shot at winning 2v3 with a computer ally...I mean it would be very difficult of course but at least *possible* on a Dominate game it's just a matter of having more bodies to run around capping flags.

Oh well, I guess Pantheon won't be for me than. Still a great game though don't get me wrong! I'm loving it.

I got a 2v1 dominate on Zikurat the other day, that cannot be intended. Whatever about any of the other game modes...

the other massive problem for 2v3's is when you do get properly matched vs 3 new players, and completely and utterly stomp them for the next 30 minutes. hardly the best way to introduce a new player to the game.

Point 1 is a complete lie BTW... this is a frogboy excuse for hide a completely broken system.

I have been playing pantheon for a while and when i was sick and tired of being tied 2v3 or vs IAs i started to click in the info window exactly when the match was starting, well... the first tie was allways a fail game 2v3, IAs and so on, i know all the nicks of all the damn IAs of the game and im absolutely sure it was the first tie, just info window appear and click in to see the players of the game.

So the "The problem is ppl quitting to get tied with friends" is a complete joke.

Yeah, I think you're absolutely right as well.

In every game, I see that an equal number of players connect to each other but getting into the game, there are nearly always fewer players.

I suppose there might be 2 explanations for this:

1) Nearly everyone wants to play pre-mades so they quit.

2) The unbalanced team making system allows people to connect to each other first and then kicks them out just before the game starts (which sounds insane btw).

Or something is broken.

As someone else pointed out, I think Stardocks matchmaking system is doing a decent job of connecting to people to each other before the game starts but when it gets handed over to DG, it fails.

I have NO idea if it works like that but it'd explain a lot.
