The intent of the White Council is to band together a community of gamers who are interested to Galciv regularly and to contribute to improving the game while being useful members of this forum.

The pre-requiste for a White Council member is basic commitment to the above purpose. There is no requirement for you to be as clinical a finisher as "I can win in my sleep" Staffa or have the workrate of Sergey the dark horse/black sheep. :)

You might ask as to why you should join the Council where you could be a regular contributor by yourself. The White Council is an opportunity for you to belong to a small community within the big Galciv one. You would also be assured of help or assistance from your fellow Council members as needed.

Thanks Chris! If the various colours for each Wizard is true, it would open up an opportunity for us to adopt a colour each. Black is cool...

If however our Council grows too big, we may get Joe the Magenta (pantone colour 253).

Something's weird with the Alignment icon. I've got 7000 points on the Evil board but 10000 points on the Good one but I'm Chaotic evil?

Player alignment could be based instead on the number of wins in each alignment and not points.

Anyway, we didn't say that we don't care about score, it just isn't going to be our top priority, which I believe you also said isn't GROSS's. I would have a good laugh at anyone in the Top 25 or 50 who claims to be not concerned about score.

Bear in mind all time spent to econ testing, forums and my current game (started 04 May 2003) with lovely trade catapult bringing 80040 bc/turn, no planets flipping because of influence, no tech/tradegood trade and a goal - relatively fast Military victory on Gigantic Masochistic, i can say that i'm one of those. Now it's 98 Apr, only one major (and one minor) left on the map, but i'm out of transports.

Ughhh....playing gigantic is a bore now....I need to switch to a smaller size...too many planets, too many starships...been 2 weeks playing this game...uggghhh...must...sleep...I'm about 10-12 hours from victory...at this rate it'll take 1 more week...

I'm not going to start on you Ellestar about scoring because I think I've an unfair advantage with English being my first language. And I know how much fair fights mean to you. ;)

But playing a single Galciv game over a month sounds really unfun. Well, I guess that's Gigantic for you. My workrate has slowed quite a bit too. When I submit my Maso/Large game, it would be about 1 game/week.

We now have 3 Fleet Capts in our empire.

Nah, I've started a post to ask but T-Man has not replied. It's kinda difficult to guess as you would have noticed that the Fleet Capts play different kinds of difficulties and maps.
