attack speed limit?

i got my attack speed to .5, and then it didnt seem to go any further... Is it just not showing beyond that point or is there an actual attack speed limit. If so, i have to say, LAME. If someone gets their attack speed to that point they are obviously going to win, so why not let them attack a little faster for fun. I killed a light tower in 2.5 seconds flat with no abilities, and if thats not enough then i don't know what is.

Yeh the AS is capped at 0.5.
