After the intro, the i get the cursor and ambient music. But there is no menu, just a black screen 
I also noticed that my game download was only 1.88GB, while impulse states that the game takes 2.81GB.
Nevermind, i just had to wait a while for it to load, however, i have this problem with every button i click. Loading anything like the pantheon takes ages.
We were not planning for the early release by Gamestop (plus the pirates), so the game is curently still using the beta servers. We should have the final ones up tomorrow which have better capacity.
I am getting the same problem. I have to wait about 3 minutes for the black screen to load the menu, and everytime I hit join, pantheon or whatever. I have to wait 3 minutes for it to even register. Even if I hit the "back" button.
Considering I wasnt even logged into the server starting the game (black screen after the cinematic) it is some other problem.
I really want to play this, but ive still not be able to start playing since ive spent 30 minutes navigating the menus 
Also,it seems impossible to multitask, I cant open the window again after multitasking back to windows vista 64bit.
The game checks for updates on start.

It is pretty awesome that you reply so fast and that Stardock give a F*** about its customers. I will definately keep supporting you for a long time
