Pause

I have played a couple times so far and always get my arse handed to me by the computer.  Couple questions...When you choose "Unfair or Hard" under options for the AI is that "Unfair or Hard" for the computer or me?  I have chose both before thinking it will be Unfair or Hard for the computer therefore making it easier for me but I still lose.  Hopefully, I should have been choosing "Easy" for the computer all along because if the computer is beating me and I have had the advantage all along then I have a long way to go.  Second, you guys keep talking about using all these abilities and such(for Cap ships)and I never find time to be able to use anything....What are the buttons for slowing the speed of the game or pausing?....if there is a pause can you give orders on pause?

Yeah, you wanna put it on "EASY".

Unfair means the computer cheats it's so hard hahaha.

This is a real question? Easy means its easy for you. Hard means its a little less easy (this game does have AI that can only be described as French, after all), and Unfair means the computer is on hard but gets extra money.

If you look on your keyboard on the top right there should be a key that says "Pause". It pauses Sins. You can order units to attack and use abilities when paused, and when you unpause they will do as you commanded. Super useful.

You set game speed, pirates on/off etc... on the setup screen (where you set AI difficulty) - Game Options button at the bottom!!!

Don't forget the Karma!!!! :D

pause can help you in time critical game maneuvers by allowing you to issue a quick chain of commands that would otherwise take you many times longer running normally.

As for the Unfair: Come on. They had Icons that show you. Its like Halo's legendary, it has the skull and the swords and everything? Same principle here.

Pause should not be something you use to get an advantage - you are just cheating yourself - pause it to allow you to walk away from your machine for a break. And you can't use this tactic online.

If you right-click any ability you can toggle from automatic to manual. This should help out in the heat of battle :)
