It is my pleasure as a new senator of the MWC to congratulate all good peeople of fertile lands with incredible success that our empire achieved in the recent past.

We are not the fastest growing empire but the quickest to rise in ratings. Opportunities are excellent for new (and seasoned) players to make their mark on the face of Metaverse.

We are not asking anyone to defect from other respected empires. We are asking people of midlands (of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Japan, all islands) to join MWC. If desire to help a real and noble cause will regretfully make you leave existing empire so be it. Be strong in your true aligence.

We defeated G.R.O.S.S, others are shaking seeing MWC make it's way up.

Celebrate if you are an MWC member. Join us and we shall go together to the glorious future of the Mid Western Confederation.

Just wanted to bump this up to get it some facetime and to try out my new sigline ala idleprocess. Not to mention throwin a plug in for this empire....if you want some helpful tips on how to score in this great game, join up and come into our members only chatroom. We'll get ya up to speed quick! Our only requirements are twofold, have some connection to the Midwestern US of A and despise the evil empire G.R.O.S.S. Apparently this game grosses them out or aliens do...I dunno. ;p Regardless they need to be taken down a peg and we need you to help us do it.

Yeah i got an alliance victory out of it, it's not really a cop-out seeing as the Torians or the Drengin were in to shape to win either.

Ah i see we now have help keeping our little thread up while us Mid-wester are working, playing with the dog, planing the take over of the metaverse, and such...

I wish i could jump in this but i'm afraid i'm not a LOTR fan, other than seeing the movies ( and falling asleep during the second one). So i'll leave that to surther :p ;) LOL

Has anyone else noticed that the ANZAC's have 203252.1 total points, and are now in first place. !!!
It seems Cataleptic now has a 158098 overall score
With a submiting a Gigantic - Crippling win worth 257515 points today.

SoulWound, I was a DragonLance fan in my youth and I really wanted to buy the old trilogies again but unfortunately, they seem to be out of print in Singapore. In fact, I still remember the DragonLance PC game (must be >15 years ago). I had just upgraded from CGA to EGA and was overwhelmed by the colours in the game. :D

The reason why I also thought of DragonLance recently is surther's comment about the White Council being senile. Who came to mind instantly? Fizban! (Paladine's old senile wizard avatar).

Ah yes Dragonlance. That was probably the first Trilogy I read. I just ripped through those books and I thought they were the best thing. I loved Sturm Brightblade. I too have long lost my original prints. I am sure you can find them in used book stores, at least here in the States.

Hello people,

I have been missing for 10 days in the land of Rus'. Upon return I found things unchanged and I am thankfull.

Unchanged are determination for the greatness of MWC.
Also unchanged are funny noises Pontius of otherwise respected G.R.O.S.S. empire is making. Shh-shh Pontius go away, you are irrelevant. Gerraken, great comments, but be carefull where you leave your tire marks. One day corn field might have tactical nuclear mine with your genetic code as trigger.

My big welcome goes to our new great members. Just to re-emphasize surther's point: all midwesterners are welcome here. North America and otherwise.

Most of all I would like to congratulate and thank ALL of the MWC overlords: it's your everyday work and dedication that moves our empire higher.

Individual achievements (and we have best of the best here) are great, but it's empire and collective work that guarantees stability and prosperity of the state. Whether 80 or 8000 points - you are our most valuable member. Loss of any one of you would be the day of sorrow.

We are closing on GROSS and soon to be the #1.

He welcome back Axels . I hope you had a good trip. The Empire has grown and continues to stay in the top 10 and keep pace with our rivals. A number of high scoring overlords joined to form a new empire "White Council." They seem like a fun group of people and are proving to be worthy adversaries. We have a new Senator in our ranks, Senator Copernicus, and we will be meeting soon to discuss the appointment of our 5th Senator as we approach 25 members.
