Wincustomize loading problem (Annoying)

I'm a loyal subscriber to Wincustomize, I love this program, but this problem of the pages loading so slow is so frustrating, and exasperating, I've had thoughts of discontinuing my account, maybe just using Style XP to alter my desktop. Is their any relief coming soon I'm tired of going to deviant art ( don't get me wrong I like DA) to load up my alterations. Can someone give some insight as to what's being done.

It would appear that you are not alone in experiencing slow loading of pages on the WC site.  There are a couple of current posts where members of the community are identifing site loading problems.  I would tell you that not everyone is having problems, I'm not. 

If it's a site issue It doesn't seem to be effecting everyone.  I have seem comments from Stardock that they are aware of the problems/issues and are working on them.  Before you ask, no they don't know when the problems/issues will be cleared.

A suggestions would be to close out your browser and clean out cookies and browser history.  It has helped me when I have had issue.  I'm not saying this will fix it for you, but it's worth a try.

1. WinCustomize is not a program

2. Style XP will not improve on how fast the WinCustomize site pages load.

3. As Philly has mentioned, Stardock are working on the code for the WinCustomize web site and hopefully you will see improvements in the near future. His suggestion of clearing the browser cookies can help in some cases.

Thank-you Philly for your kind response, the other day I went to a public library(killing time) surfing the net I thought I'd check out one of my favorite "sites" ( since using program is a bad choice of words) I found the same problem there. Don't get me wrong I'm a LOYAL fan of wincustomize I'm not trying to knock this wonderful site I just wanted to have an idea when some relief is coming. I just don't remember this happening in the past.

No problem ladyj55 you are very welcome.  You by the way did the one thing that a lot of folks don't or can't do, try using another computer from another location and internet hookup.  It's really the only way to troubleshoot most of the time.

I see in another the post that they are saying that it may take anther week or so to fix the current problem.  So we at least know that it's been identified and they are working on it. |-)

Hankers I think maybe you misunderstood I don't think using Style xp will improve Wincustomize at all, I was just making a statement as to maybe using another program to alter my desktop,( while this problem is being resolved) it was only a thought, nothing beats Wincustomize for doing that. Second of all I didn't know wincustomize wasn't a program I stand corrected. Thanks for your input.
