Is it possibal to combine mods i downloaded off the internet? I have mods for slow pirats, strong capital ships, instant phase travil, and new planit mods, but i cant activate more then one at a time. Is there a way to combine all the mods into 1?
You'd have to go in and merge the files themselves. If multiple mods change the same things, you either half to pick one mod over the others or go in and merge the changes manually.
The first thing to do is unpack the mods in separate places and then look at the contents.
If none of them have the same file names, you can just copy the lot into a single mod directory and call it what you like.
If they share the same files, then you would need to print out each version of the file, and compare what is different, then decide which change you want on each changed line and then modify that line yourself in a new version of the file. Then create a new mod using your versions.
Its not intrinsically difficult, just needs a methodical approach and some time.
This is called the seven deadly sins mod and what it does. look it up.
7DS has a lot of other stuff as well. Its possible to not want the whole 7DS mod. I didnt go for it because it does have stuff I dont want.
