The Political Machine 2008 Launcher

I installed the game onto my computer and it said that everything was completed. Though whenever I try to open the game through its shortcut it always says "Searching for file PM2008_Launcher.exe" I'm wondering whether or not this file was fully installed on the computer or if something totally random happened. Please help, I was looking forward to this game for a long time and I hope to be able to play it soon.

The file "PM2008_Launcher.exe" should be located in the same place as the rest of the files, namely "C:/Program files/Stardock Games/The Political Machine 2008/".  If it's not there for some reason, you can run the game without the launcher, just use the file called "PolMachine2008.exe" which is located there as well.

If neither of these files exist then something went wrong during the install.  Your best bet in that case is to uninstall and reinstall the game via Impulse.

I tried all this and I still have the same problem. I searched the drive, but there was no file "PolMachine2008.exe". And when I try Impulse, it says "Searching for ImpulseMini.exe". I believe it is just something wrong with my computer and I shall try it on another one of my own. Thanks for your help.

Hrmm, I'd try un-installing the game within Impulse, restarting your computer, and then re-installing the game with Impulse.

Let us know if that does anything for ya.
