Stolen sounds?

I'd swear some of these sound effects are familiar...

Starcraft sounds? What the heck?

When I clicked on a Gauss platform, the sound it made was identical to that of a bunker loading in Starcraft.
What's up with that? I'm sure if I looked hard enough or listened close enough, I would find more... aural plagiarism?
What's up with that? Is it just some common sound, something you can download off soundsnap or something? Hunh?
Any body else spot things like this? Mostly sound, but anything else?

It's a stock sound. Lots of people use them, that's how the sound companies make money ;)

There is another sound I've noticed. Its like a sparky sound you get when you click on one of the advent things that sounds just like the Human builder's torch when he's building something.
