The Halo superweapon idea could work as such: public superweapon: the ark/the halos. When A halo is set off, it should eliminate everything in a small section of the map enemy or ally. The Halo ring has to be controlled for a set amount of time before it fires. The ark is a bit trickier. First you have to find the derelict key ship, then the portal. Once the portal to the ark is opened, the ark is open to the public. And like the Halo rings, the Ark has to be controlled for a set amount of time. Then ALL the rings are set of destroying everything on the map EXCEPT what's on the Ark. Victory. This resolves the arguments over superweapons when we get to that point. But it makes another problem: the derelict, portal, and halo rings are open from the second the game begins. This problem is solved by such: late-game research.Hope this helps
Yup you pretty much summerized what i said about them like a page or two ago lol. But i also want to make the humans able to destroy the Halos and idk
maybe the resulting blast could have the same effect? I haven't ironed out the kinks all the way concering the Halos.
Would they possibly be considered the pirates than? Or do you have another faction planned for this role?
Well i don't have anything currently planned for the pirates AS OF NOW but i don't think that the separitists would be a goodfit because they are allied with the UNSC. I might take a poll on this later to see what we could do with them
