Jacques is no more

I got up this morning and found Jacques my crab naked and deceased at the bottome of the tank.

Since he had moulted, he had kept getting naked and running aound out of his shell.  I had given him a variety of different shells to try on, and he kept going back to his old one.  So, I kept him in isolation.

This morning, there he was.  I don't know what happened.  I'm sad...Jacques was my first crab.

Oh, and I'm sure there will ne resurrection like what happened with Bob.  Jacques really is no more.

Farewell Jacques, my crustacean friend.  You were a good crab.

How old was he?  How long do they live?  I know nothing about keeping them.  Is it possible that he just got old?

I have a hamster that won't die.  The thing is almost bald, lazy, and old.  And, she smells really bad.  We bought her over 3 years ago (they supposedly only live 2 to 3 years) in hopes that we would have a "cute fluffy thing" that would die before one of the dogs did so that my daughter can learn to deal with that first.  But, the rodent will probably live forever

RIP Jacques.  So sorry Dharma.  I was even sad when we had to flush our few days old carnival fish.
